....Our
rock, Norseman is a classic Morgan, all the way, correct, and a
good worker. Good legs, hip, and feet. He is a "levi's man".
We bought him as a weanling from Nancy Caisse of Townshend Farm.
We went to the farm, in Massachusetts, and looked at all the colts.
He was our pick and was shipped home the next spring as a yearling.
....Jean
Sauer trained him as a three year old and four year old. He won
all he could in Jr. English Pleasure and won a few in hand classes,
being Grand Champion Stallion at the PNW show, then in Walla, Walla.
Norseman has gone on to teach my daughter how to ride saddleseat
and about showing. He has been a wonderful horse to drive to our
Meadowbrook, and he has taught many kids to ride.
....He
was retired at the age of 18 from his stud duties, but he is presently
with Katie Hardy, another young person, and taking her through the
shows and competitions.
....Norseman
has 25 foals.. They have excelled in dressage, hunter pleasure,
English Pleasure, driving, and halter. Our big handsome farm trail
horse, Scandias Maestro, is by Norseman.
and our lovely Springtyme Lady is also by
him.
....This
year Norseman is 20 years old, and he represented the parade Morgan
at our Oregon Expo. He will was ridden in full silver regalia with
Art Perry up. He will was up to the task and did it with style.
